REMEMBERING OUR LITTLE MATE!
THIS WAS MICKEY'S LIFE WITH US!
Our dear little man passed away on 25th February. He suffered a seizure/stroke. Thank goodness I was there for him, and Sandy & Baden were here as well, so they got the chance to say goodbye. What a special little boy he was, he was our baby, and life without him is really quite strange. But we do have wonderful memories, photo's and of course he will always be with us! We have made a special little garden around his grave and Ben is installing a very large Standing Post- to mark this special place. Here are a collection of photo's ,stories, even a special poem I wrote for him after our big tour in 2011. Any body who has had a beloved pet will enjoy sharing Mickey's story!

MICKEY'S WEE WEE TOUR
MICKEY'S WEE WEE TOUR (a poem by N O'Hara Murphy)
We have a little fluffy friend we call him Scooby Doo
He travels with us everywhere does everything we do
Cause' he's a family member he's our bestest little mate
And this was his biggest wee wee tour we covered every state
It was Mickle's little wee wee tour it started off okay
Til we got to South Australia where we spent several happy days
THe place is really lovely old stone houses and the like
But oh' dear, the Big Four Caravan Parks, said" Mickey on your bike" !
You can't stay here with us they said, he's a dog!
We said" oh' my God, we never knew, as you do!
So off we went to Gawler town we camped there quite sublime
Mickle tried to fly, and catch the birds, he ran and jumped and played
It was ever so relaxing we stayed for several days
Where our little mate could run about he had such a lovely time
We looked at all the churches old buildings all so grand
And Mickle did more wee wees all across the land
We saw a lovely wedding the bride just looked divine
But Mickey did a whoopsee just at the crucial time
But no one seemed to notice they were focused on the bride
And Mickle was oblivious he was having such a time
He was first at every fence post he was there at every gate
If he spotted something special well, he didn't hesitate
This wee wee tours been special and Mickles had a ball
In spite of Big Four Caravan parks, who won't let him in at all.
So as you travel round the place just keep a good lookout
A little patch a yellow stain that's what it's all about
And Mickles little wee wee tour has been a big success
He's done it all, he's had a ball, and you can guess the rest!
Here we are at a Train Park in South Australia- KAPUNDA- with Mickle- he loved checking out strange smells and strange places! We've had a melt down with our hard drive - photo's- so stay tuned for many more happy moments with Mickey!
Mickey was a diabetic for several years -he was simply amazing, he'd let me know if I was late with his medication, twice a day he'd line up. He was such a brave little soldier ,he was such a happy little soul and taught us all so much. I think some people miss out on so much not having a (Mickey) absolute love and devotion ,no strings attached. Our lives are pretty empty without him, but he gave us so much that I feel very blessed we had him for so long. He was fourteen years old and he had his qaulity of life right up to the end.
